Daily Makeup Routine

Something I love just as much as fashion is makeup! I have tried just about every product in existence and I think I have found my all time favorites! I use these products anytime I wear makeup and I love the results. Be sure to check out my YouTube channel for makeup tutorials. I have a few tutorials as well as other beauty/fashion related videos! If you have any requests for videos leave a comment!
I bought the Tarte 'amazonian clay full coverage foundation' towards the end of August and have been using it ever since. It works well however I don't think it is worth the 38 dollars I paid for it. That's too pricy for me! I much prefer the Revlon Colorstay (I always end up going back to this foundation, it is my all time favorite). It is long wearing and has AMAZING coverage. If you are interested in the tarte foundation you can find it here. I have started using the Real Techniques 'miracle complexion sponge' for applying foundation. If you would like to see my first impression of this item click here! I prefer this sponge over any of my makeup brushes so be sure to pick it up (it's for sale here, here and here).

For concealer I use a few different products because they all do different things... or I'm just a bit excessive! I use the MAC 'pro longwear' concealer for my under-eye area and it works like a dream. It is lightweight however it is full coverage and lasts all day with minimal creasing. I have to set mine with a powder to prevent creasing though (the powder I use is listed next). Next, I use Hard Candy's 'glamoflauge' to conceal any bad breakouts or problem areas. This concealer is a thicker consistency and will cover up anything. Lastly I use Covergirl's 'ready set gorgeous' concealer to highlight the high points of my face. If anyone is interested in a contour/highlight video let me know! Aside from my makeup sponge (discussed in the last picture) I also use the Real Techniques setting brush. It blends out the concealer without taking away any product.

To set my foundation and concealer I use MAC 'mineralize skinfinish natural' with the Sigma F80. This powder is amazing. I have tried so many powders (high end and drugstore) and this one is my favorite. It gives a very natural, dewy finish without looking cakey. I originally used the F80 for foundation but I really enjoy using it for powder as well.

This is the palette that I use for all my bronzing (be sure to pick it up here if you're interested it's limited edition). I use two different brushes to apply bronzer, one for contouring and one for blending out my contour and warming up the rest of my face. I use the brush the comes in the Benefit boxed powder to carve out my contour. I found that this brush didn't work well for blush but it works for contouring (you can find a real contouring brush here). I use this elf brush to blend out my bronzer and it's perfect.

For contouring I use 'chocolate soleil'. This shade is perfect because it is matte and blends out really nicely. You can purchase it individually here. To warm up the rest of my face I use 'sun bunny' which has a little bit of shimmer and gives a nice glow (be sure to pick it up here). The last color in the palette is 'snow bunny.' I use this color on it's own in the summertime because it gives just the right amount of color and glow. It is for sale individually here.

My most recent favorite blush is 'frat boy' by The Balm. I love the name, the packaging and the product. I apply this blush with a Real Techniques blush brush and blend it out with this brush.

I have been using this eyeshadow primer for years. It keeps my eyeshadows on all day.

My favorite eye shadow palette is the Lorac Pro. I use a wide variety of eyeshadow brushes but these four (here, here, here and here) are my most used however any brushes will work.

Here is a closer look at the palette. As you can see it has a nice selection of colors and contains both matte and shimmery shades. My most used matte colors are white, cream, taupe and sable. My most used shimmery colors are nude, champagne and lt. bronze.

These are my brow products. I have been using these for years and I love them. This palette is so old I don't think it is for sale anymore but you can purchase something similar here. I use an angled brush to apply the powders that can be found in a set here.

This mascara is the best. I have tried every mascara in the drugstore I swear and Maybelline 'the rocket' is my favorite. If you want something more high end, this one is good too. ALSO I forgot to picture my eyeliner! I use this gel liner in 'blacktrack' with this brush. Amazing. Would highly recommend it.

I really like both these products for moisturizing (here and here). I use the salve at night and the Chapstick throughout the day!

I love lip products. Like, LOVE them. These are just my winter favorites. I will have to do a separate post/video on my all-time favorite products.

My essentials this winter have been a bright red, a darker nude (Kylie Jenner anyone!?) and a deep berry. Sometimes I use these liners on their own and sometimes I use them with a different lipstick. Either way they are beautiful and I would HIGHLY recommend them.

These are the corresponding lipsticks. Maybelline's 'on fire red' is my all time favorite. MAC's 'viva glam gaga 2' was limited edition but can be found here. The covergirl lipstick can be found here and is the perfect berry.

I hope this post was helpful/informative. I am not sponsored by any of these companies. I truly do think these are amazing products and the links are just for convenience. Thanks for stopping by!
